A Quick Story About a Quick Filly

Our 2YOs are doing very well for us this season, we are a leading stable by winners & Black Type performers nationwide, & we are about to launch another wave of talented types over the next month.

One talented 2YO who is about to make her debut appearance is our Written Tycoon x Supersay filly and there are opportunities to get involved with only 15% available. Once her ownership is complete, she can trial so herein lies the opportunity in a filly we know can rocket & is ready to go.



Let us share a quick story about her in five bullet points:

  • We purchased this striking chestnut Written Tycoon filly from Ridgmont Farm at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale last year for $320,000. Her dad was reigning Champion sire at the time, her mother was a sharp 2YO winner & is also the half-sister to Group 1 VRC Oaks winner, Lasqueti Spirit.
  • The filly broke in well & showed plenty of natural speed in the Spring. So much so, we sent her to Melbourne for a Stakes race (Group 3 Ottawa) on debut over the Flemington Carnival. Unfortunately she went shin sore after her final Flemington jump-out and was spelled to further strengthen and mature. 
  • She has since returned bigger and stronger, and has had two smart jump-outs at Randwick. Jump Out 1 - watch the video below. She is the filly furthest from the screen and wasn't asked to do too much early on. Her competition included three fillies who were having their second jumpout this preparation and have since trialled:
    • Oz Empress - won her first official trial. Watch here.
    • Tillusion - won her first official trial on Monday. Watch here.
    • La Demoiselle - nose 2nd with a long way back to third in her trial on Monday. Watch here.


  • Jump Out 2 last Friday - watch her gate speed in the video below. She jumped from barrier 4, the furthest from the screen.


  • Our Written Tycoon x Supersay filly worked along stylishly on Tuesday morning & her gallop showed us that she has come through her recent jump out bigger and better. Watch her Tuesday gallop in the video below. She is the filly on the outside, winning the gallop easily.


We feel we have a lot of quality 2YOs to measure this filly against & what we know is that this Written Tycoon filly is all quality.
