Trackwork Tuesday 14th January 2020

Mini Boom (Spirit Of Boom/Mini Magic) is in great shape and this morning she galloped over 1000 metres on the steeple grass alongside stablemate Shuhood (I Am Invincible/Shahad). Ridden by jockeys Adam Hyeronimus and Tim Clark respectively, they clocked 12.2 seconds over the final 200 metres and each rider could not have been more delighted with their mounts. They set a good tempo from the outset and they were competitive with one another in the home straight as they came home and found the line most takingly. We are delighted with them both and they have come out of last week’s trial exceedingly well. Mini Boom is pencilled in to run at Canterbury on Friday evening in the 3 Year Old Fillies' Maiden Handicap over 1100 metres and Shuhood will head to another trial before being programmed to race. 

Wolfe (Novellist/Peace Of World) is working well and this morning he completed three quarter pace work over 1200 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Tim Clark, he clocked 14.2 seconds over the final 200 metres and Tim couldn't have been happier with our Japanese gelding. He relaxed so well early on and then gave Tim a terrific feel as he travelled strongly on the bridle all the way through the line. We are delighted with him and we can’t wait to see him back racing again in the not too distant future. 

Wimlah  (Sebring/Caiguna) is working well and this morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Alana Pearson, she clocked 11.7 seconds over the final 200 metres and Alana is delighted with how the mare is coming along. She is improving with each piece of work and she’s a big mare, so it takes her a few gallops to really get her fitness up. However, now she’s really hit her stride and she is working in a lovely fashion. We couldn’t be more pleased with her and she seems sweeter in her disposition than she previously did, and she is doing everything we are asking of her. We will continue to bring her along as she gets ready for a trial.
