Trackwork Tuesday 12 March 2019

Dresden Green (Snitzel/Asscher) has come through his most recent run in superb order. The colt was a total professional throughout the effort and found the line strongly under Tim Clark, who commented, “He did everything right today and now that he has had a few runs, he feels like he wants a bit more ground.” Dresden Green is unlucky to still be a maiden, but he is full of confidence and he has taken immense benefit from the run. He will prove hard to beat next time out whereveer he goes.

Kooza (High Chaparral/Cirque Du Soleil) stepped right up to full paced work this morning. He bowled over 1200 metres with work rider Alana Pearson aboard, quickening nicely to the finish to stop the clock at 12.3 seconds and pulling up having a small blow following the effort. The faster work will bring this gelding’s fitness to the next level over the coming weeks and we look forward to getting him back to the trials soon.

Our exciting 2YO filly, Precisely (Not A Single Doubt/Msongari) put in a very strong gallop over 600 metres this morning. The filly found the line strongly under jockey Josh Parr to stop the clock at 11.5 seconds for the final furlong. She has come on beautifully following her trial win and she is on track to get back to the races at Warwick Farm on the 27th of March.

Jockey Tim Clark was pleased with Mensa Missile’s (Smart Missile/Irresistible Charm) gallop over 600 metres this morning. The colt worked along well with Aeecee Beau (Rubick/Freezethemillions) and quickened nicely down the straight to stop the clock at 11.6 seconds for the final furlong. Tim commented, “That was a sharp work, the colt had a small blow but his fitness will improve off that piece of work.” Mensa Missile is taking shape very nicely this preparation and he is right on track to get to the trials in coming weeks.
