| I've realised I neglected to mention the passing of one of Australia's great breeders, Lloyd Foyster (www.smh.com.au/national/obituaries/breeder-with-a-taste-for-risk-20120115-1q15e.html). Lloyd, his father and brothers were part of Australian royalty. They were colourful, larger than life, dominated the racing game and were an integral part of my early years at Tulloch Lodge. | Rob, Charlotte and I are sitting in the Qantas lounge waiting for our flight home. It's been a hectic few days in Auckland attending New Zealand's premier sales. For the vendors it's been a hard tough road with some leaving in ruins, as some of their yearlings didn't even gain a bid. | I've been off the airwaves for the past few days but that's because it's been unbelievably hectic. I arrived back from the Gold Coast Magic Million sales last week and it was straight into the Inglis Classic sales from there, where Denise also purchased three cracking youngsters for Star Thoroughbreds: Lot 47: Beautiful Crown x Pretty Special Colt for $100,000Lot 57: Northern Meteor x Pure...
