NEW DAY RISING (Race 3, 1400m, 1.40pm, No. 5, rider Nash Rawiller, 55.5kg): This Fastnet Rock stallion resumed impressively and is fitter for that effort. The rise in distance is ideal and Nash steers on his home-track. Lovely each-way prospect.
MORE STRAWBERRIES (Race 4, 1400m, 2.20pm, No. 2, rider Nash Rawiller, 56kg): This daughter of More Than Ready was super in her return and clearly looked suited to a rise in trip. The Golden Slipper placed filly gets that here which puts her right in the mix. She will fight out this finish.

He has won at Group 1 level this distance and if any competitor can get past him in the straight here they win the event.
